This February, the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association (SkiPA) is inviting snow enthusiasts to enjoy the fresh powder and rekindle some romance on the slopes.  Whether you’re looking for some cozy Valentine’s Day specials or simply want to head to the slopes for some weekend fun, many of the resorts have a full calendar of events planned all month-long from, romantic dinners and snow festivals to winter carnivals and some amazing ski deals.

Valentine’s Day Specials At Pennsylvania Ski Area Resorts

Blue Knob Resort, Claysburg

Wednesday, February 14, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Valentine’s Day Wine Tasting and Dinner
Blue Knob Resort will be offering a special Valentine’s Day Wine Tasting and dinner at the Conference Center for $100 per couple. The dinner includes a five course Valentine’s themed fine foods pairing with an assortment of five wines. Reservations must be made in advance by Thursday, February 7 at (814) 239-1035. Ski My Valentine Lift Ticket Special
What could be a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than skiing with your heart’s desire?  Nothing says "I Love You" like spending some quality time on the chairlift and making turns with your Valentine!  Blue Knob Resort invites couples to celebrate on the slopes with a special “Ski My Valentine” lift ticket deal for $30 day and twilight session tickets.  Tickets must be purchased in person with second ticket being used on February 14.  Does not apply to online purchases and may not be combined with any other discounts. Snowfest
Head to Blue Knob for a weekend of fun.  Kicking off Friday night with a WTAJ Live broadcast, fashion show and torchlight parade. Take a break from the slopes and sample amazing craft beers at Foggy Brewsfest on Saturday, February 9, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. in Foggy Brews. Ten vouchers for a 6 oz. beer sample in a commemorative glass. Craft beer experts will be on site during the event to talk shop and share insight about the ingredients and process that goes into each brew. Join the Race Against Cancer in the Joe Riesle Memorial NASTAR Race on Sunday. Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the race.  Using the NASTAR format, the intermediate-level course is set on the Upper Tomahawk Trail.
