This Year’s Story…

The Kingdom of Wheaton is a peaceful realm ruled by King William and the Beautiful Queen Grace. The Kingdom is divided into four Baronies. The Barons of the North, South, East, and West each rule a portion of the Kingdom. Every year the kingdom hosts the Tournament of Prosperity where each of the Barons bring a champion to compete for a chest of gold.

During the year, the Barons search the world for unique combatants from faraway lands. These are heroes of folklore steeped in mystery and suffused with magic. Shows on the Tournament Field starting at 11:00am and on each hour thereafter will tell the overarching story of the event. The day concludes with the Tournament of Prosperity performed at 3:00pm.

The 2026 Story: All is not well in the Kingdom of Wheaton. Five glassblowers have been turned into statues of stone. What could have done this? Was it dark magic or something more dire? As the Royal Guard searches for answers, the Barons are drawn into the clutches of a monster that even the Grymm Witches like to steer clear of.

The tale is told in a series of short performances on the Tournament Field at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm. Throughout the day, there are five other stages full of acts and more than forty merchant shops to peruse.  The day concludes with the Tournament of Prosperity performed at 3:00pm.
