Read & Pick Blueberries
Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area.
Young farmers are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about blueberries. We will be reading the book: Blueberries for Sal followed by an educational component. Our farm staff will explain how blueberries grow and how they should be picked. Then everyone will pick his or her own small container of blueberries.
The cost is $12.00 per child and includes the container of blueberries. Tuesdays have 9:30 am and 11 am sessions, lasting about one hour.
