The Capital Region's hometown fair features midway rides, live music, a circus, sea lion show, racing pigs, animal barns, demolition derby, livestock shows, rodeo, pro wrestling exhibition, lumberjack show, exhibits, fair food and more.
Admission: $10 on Aug. 13; $15 Aug. 14-18; free for ages 10 & younger; free Wednesday (with ID) for ages 65+, Grange members, active military & veterans. Visit Altamont Fair for advance savings on ride wristbands. Fair gates open at noon Aug. 13 and 10 am Aug. 14-18. Midway hours: 2-10 pm Aug. 13, noon-10 pm Aug. 14-15, noon-11 pm Aug. 16-17, noon-8 pm Aug. 18
