Free Family Storytelling Festival in Lambertville, NJ
Families and storytelling enthusiasts are invited to join Storytelling Arts for a day of enchantment and fun at the Free Family Storytelling Festival on June 15 at the American Legion in Lambertville, NJ. This exciting event, running from 11 AM to 3 PM, promises to be a delightful experience for all ages, featuring captivating stories, colorful face painting, and whimsical balloon art.
The festival will showcase the talents of three exceptional storytellers:
- Bronwyn Bird of BirdHouse School of Music in Lambertville, whose engaging stories and musical background will captivate audiences.
- David Vanadia, a local Lambertville performance artist and Tai Chi instructor, who brings a unique blend of physicality and narrative to his storytelling.
- Shirley Johnson from East Orange, NJ, known for her highly energized and creative presentations of multicultural and African-American tales.
Adding to the festivities, face painting will be provided by Sisters Signature Crafts from Frenchtown, ensuring that children can transform into their favorite characters with colorful designs. The event will also feature whimsical balloons, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The festival operates on a rotating drop-in schedule, allowing families to join in at any time throughout the day. The event offers free, easy parking and is stroller-friendly, making it an ideal outing for families with young children.
