Montclair Film’s annual and beloved SUMMER SERIES is back and kicks off at Lackawanna Plaza on Friday, June 3 with a special screening of the 1975 cult favorite, THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, presented in partnership with Out Montclair and featuring a live pre-show performance by The Ordinary Kids.

When sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) get stuck with a flat tire during a storm, they discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named Rocky.

Come early and enjoy food and refreshments from local food trucks and Montclair Brewery, who will be selling their ‘Pride Just Beer‘, plus a live pre-show performance starting at 7pm from The Ordinary Kids. This film is rated R.
 


All venues will open at 7pm and films will begin at sundown. Come early, bring lawn chairs and a picnic, and enjoy the show!
