Celebrate a New York Halloween tradition! October weekends are packed with activities, including Dinosaur Safari and hay mazes, costume parades, musical theater, magic shows, and live music. Visit The Museum of Un-natural Mysteries and see 3-D pumpkin carving demonstrations.  Sat & Sun from Oct 4 to Nov 2.

Join us for Trick-or-Treating and other Halloween fun at the ZOO! Eerie Express Haunted Train.  (Train not recommended for young children.) .  Oct 24  (6 pm – 9 pm) and  Oct 25 (11 am – 2 pm and 6 pm – 9 pm).

BOO AT THE ZOO WITH SCOOBY DOO AT INSECTROPOLIS

The Scooby gang visits the Bug Museum for Halloween. While on a tour, they discover that the sacred gold beetle is missing. Where is it and who took it? Help uncover clues as you explore our spooky exhibits escorted by one of the Scooby gang. Meet up with Scooby when you solve the case. Fun for all ages. Oct 10 to 11 5 pm – 8 pm.

Attention Ghosts, Goblins, and other Halloween Revelers, make your way for Friday night haunted hayrides!  Hayrides to the Barnyard petting farm, and daily pumpkin picking (except Mondays)  Also, home to some of the best known elite alpacas. 

FAMILY FALL CAMPFIRE

A thrilling night filled with Halloween games, stories, a hayride, music around the campfire and fun snacks! October 24, 25, 26.  Registration required.  

GREAT PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

ANNUAL HOWELL LIVING HISTORY FARM FALL FESTIVAL

Take a look back in time at the harvest season – visitors take on the role of “helping neighbors”.  Oct 4 – 5.

ANNUAL CRANBERRY FESTIVAL
Chatsworth (609) 726-9237. Celebrate New Jersey’s cranberry harvest, the Pine Barrens, and local culture.  Artists and craftsmen, live music, antique car show, and more.  Oct 18 – 19th 9 am – 4 pm.

MUM MADNESS AND PUMPKIN PARADE FAMILY FESTIVAL
Camden’s Children Garden, 3 Riverside Drive, Camden (856) 365-8733. The garden’s salute to Autumn and their mascot Mum Bear with pumpkin crafts, a pumpkin story and pumpkin activities, all set in the blazing colors of the Garden’s beautiful chrysanthemums.  Oct 11th & 12th, 1-4pm.
