Fun For The Whole Family!

On Saturday May 10, the Robert J. Novins Planetarium, along with the Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area (A.S.T.R.A.), will host Astronomy Day on the Ocean County College Main Campus in Toms River. A daytime program from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. includes exhibits, activities and demonstrations. An evening program features A.S.T.R.A. members setting up telescopes on the lawn, weather permitting. 11:30 a.m.: One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure (Ages 7 and under)

1:00 p.m.: Wonders of the Seasonal Sky (Family Show – All ages)

2:30 p.m.: Secret of the Cardboard Rocket (Ages 12 and under)

4:00 p.m.: They Might Be Giants (Kids Laser Show – Ages 7 and under)

5:30 p.m.: Secret of the Cardboard Rocket (Ages 12 and under)

7:00 p.m.: Wonders of the Seasonal Sky (Family Show – All ages)

8:30 p.m.: Laseropolis (Laser Show – Ages 10 and over)
