Ultimate Seafood Festival at Belmar

The 2023 New Jersey Seafood Festival has returned to its original location at Silver Lake Park and Ocean Avenue in Belmar. The family-friendly event will take place the weekend before Memorial Day, Friday, May 19, through Sunday, May 21, 2023. This is a rain-or-shine event with no rain dates.

Each day of the New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar will offer an ultimate feast of crowd-pleasing favorites — from scallop kabobs and lobster rolls, to coconut shrimp, crab legs, and more.

Admission to the festival is free, with grab-and-go fare for sale at each individual food vendor.

Local restaurants Ragin' Cajun, Klein's, Mr. Shrimp, Playa Bowls, Brandl, and Simply Southern will be among the Belmar, NJ, Seafood Festival participants this year. Newcomer to Belmar's "restaurant row," Santo Ceviche, is on the scene, selling fish tacos, shrimp and tuna ceviche, stuffed mussels, and more from their food truck.

If you are looking for some savory sides to add to your seafood platter, you'll find food trucks selling street corn, empanadas, blooming onions, lobster and crab fries, mac and cheese, and more.

For your sweet tooth, take your pick from vendors selling funnel cakes, Caribbean rum cakes (moist and decadent!), fried Oreos, deep-fried brownies, cannoli cream waffles, and ice cream treats.

In addition, 10th Ave. Burrito Co. has teamed up with ShorePoint Distributors to host the beer, wine, and hard seltzer tent (admission fee applies plus the cash bar).
