Edible Science

Join us at the Markheim Arts Center in Haddonfield on Sunday, September 28, 4-5:30pm as we make fun and challenging science projects with candy and food items.

These projects are not only a great way to learn about the world around us, but they can also be a lot of fun to make. And what’s more, they can be made with everyday food items.

You’ll make projects like:

  • Rock Candy
  • Candy Slime
  • Pop Rocks
  • Volcano Candy
  • Spurting Science: Erupting Diet Coke with Mentos
  • Exploding Mentos Drink
  • Exploring the Diet Coke and Mentos Experiment
  • Color Changing Coke and Mentos

Each Chemistry session is 1 ½ hours in length  — from 4-5:30pm –and offers projects for age 6+ and costs $35 per child (plus  sales tax).
