Career Carnival for Kids “All Careers Tour” Arrives at Montclair Public Librar
Free Hands-on Career Exploration Event for Kids and Families
Families in Montclair and neighboring communities are invited to the Career Carnival for Kids "All Careers Tour," a hands-on program designed to introduce young people to a variety of exciting professions in a fun and engaging way.
This free event is taking place at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue on Saturday, May 10 between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.
The program is perfect for kids aged 8-13, with plenty of engaging activities for older and younger kids as well.
Attendees will meet enthusiastic Career Guides ready to “spark career curiosity” by sharing what they do, roles in their industry, and why they chose the industry and type of work. Through interactive projects, demos, games, and giveaways, kids can explore careers in fields such as architecture, healthcare, physical therapy, dentistry, engineering, public safety, technology, and more!
Why should families, educators and community members attend?
- Educational Fun for Everyone: Gain valuable insights into career pathways.
- Inspiration and Appreciation: Exposure to various professions allows youth to understand the many different jobs people do and consider their own future careers.
- Family Time: Spend time together exploring interests and discovering new ones.
Registration is encouraged (not required) via Eventbrite.
