There are plenty of things to do with kids in New York during the holidays. Take in a holiday market, go see some city lights, or visit a winter wonderland. There's something for everyone.

Watch as model trains travel through a recreation of New York City. The Statue of Liberty Brooklyn Bridge and Yankee Stadium are all part of the railway which is made entirely out of plants. A cappella performances, classical music concerts, poetry readings and activities for kids will also be featured.

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland takes place in Kensico Dam Plaza Park. Featuring a holiday circus, visits with Santa, an ice skating rink, rides, a beautiful Candy Cane Lane and a musical light show. There will be special character appearances on select days as well.

Visitors can marvel at homemade gingerbread houses that have been created by Jon Lovitch over the course of an entire year. GingerBread Lane has won the Guiness World Record for many years for the largest gingerbread village.

The Brookfield Place is transformed into a winter wonderland this season. Visitors will be immersed in a canopy of light emanating from hundreds of suspended lanterns. Three Wishing Stations on the ground will allow visitors to send a wish to the lanterns.
