For the first time in 60 years, Appel Farm Arts Camp can not welcome creative kids for a summer of transformative arts and learning in the place they feel safest to be exactly who it is that they are… 

Since the pandemic forced us to make this decision, we have been focused on taking care of our community, and the feelings of loss and sadness that Covid-19 has left in its wake, and we created beautiful summer programming that will give our whole community a way to stay connected — stay creative.

Now, we turn to saving Appel Farm so we can welcome the kids back for Camp 2021! You can help.

The Sunflower Series: Love Grows at Appel Farm

On Fridays, July 24 and August 21, 2020 at 7:30 PM, our entire Appel Farm community will gather online to watch beautiful performances by our brilliant and talented alumni from across the country and around the world, spanning 60 years, and all of the arts, to ensure that Appel Farm will be here for at least another 60 years.

We’ve been applying for loans and grants, and we are thrilled to report that we are getting them! Appel Farm’s mission is deeply needed in our community, and funders can see that. We are still facing a shortfall, though, and to keep afloat, we are doing lots of fundraising. One of our favorite ways to fundraise is to offer our whole community a chance to help, and that means grass roots… Fitting, because the Camp 2020 theme is Love Grows!
