French Classes & Camps

The Montclair Campus of L’Alliance New York offers immersive, playful French language programs for toddlers, kids, and teens (ages 1 to 18). We provide weekly classes ranging from 60 to 180 minutes year-round. During the summer, we also offer engaging day camps for toddlers and kids, and immersion classes for teens. Our experienced, native French-speaking teachers create dynamic and supportive learning environments where children can thrive with specific curriculum designed for children learning French as a foreign language from beginner to advanced levels, and native French-speaking children. Through hands-on activities, interactive games, and age-appropriate lessons, we make learning French fun and effective. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and ignite a lifelong love of learning French.

L’Alliance Preschool: French Immersion Program

Our Montclair Campus is also home to L’Alliance Preschool, a French immersion program for toddlers aged 2.5 to 5. Founded in 2012 in Manhattan, L’Alliance Preschool expanded to Montclair, New Jersey, in September 2024, offering local families the opportunity to immerse their children in the French language and discover the richness of the francophone world.

It is open to all children regardless of their prior exposure to the French language. Our primary goal is to spark curiosity and a love of learning in young children, while encouraging them to explore the world around them. Delivered entirely in French, our program provides children with a strong foundation in the language from an early age, while ensuring a smooth transition into Kindergarten, whether or not families choose to continue with an education in French.
