Following the great success of their summer online theater classes, Essex Youth Theater is pleased to offer a Fall 2020 online semester. Online classes for children ages 6-13 years old will be delivered with all live-instruction from start to finish and will be run like in-person classes.

Janet and all the teachers guide each child through their staging, character development, vocal and facial expressiveness, elocution, music, theater fundamentals and more. These classes give kids a super fun theater experience that keeps them engaged and connected with friends, while safe at home.

Virtual class size is small, with lots of individual attention in a fun, friendly atmosphere that nurtures self-esteem, fosters creativity and builds confidence. Custom-written scripts give every child an equal acting role in the play, including a solo song! Plus, lots of other fun activities, prop-making, costume-creation, improvisation, theater games and more! Finally, students experience that indescribable feeling of accomplishment through the joy of performing. Two musicals to choose from, plus Creative Dramatics! Our unique program gives every child a starring role!
