Halloween Thrills & Chills for Teens & Tweens

Ghouls, zombies, vampires, and more are invading New Jersey this Halloween season. 

As your kids get older than can handle a little more of the “scary” Halloween fun.  We have put together a list of some of the scarier attractions offered from haunted houses to hayrides.  Please check age suggestions before attending to make sure you have a scary good time.   

The Valley Of Fear & The Original Haunted Hayride  (PA)
301 W Bristol Road, Feasterville, PA 
Come ride through America’s most horrifying woods, on what the independent website,
FrightTour.com has called “one of the best we have ever been on” including a graveyard they called “absolutely amazing.” With gigantic sets and a twisting, disorienting trail, you’ll see why they were recently named Hayride Of The Year and the all-new 2015 production of the Original Haunted Hayride will top all others!

HALLOWEEN IN HERSHEY  (PA)

Frightful fun. Hershey Park in the Dark! Creatures of the Night. Select weekends in Oct.

SCARIER HALLOWEEN BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE HAUNTED THEATER  (Central Jersey)
765 Newman Springs Rd, Lincroft
“Redefining Stage Fright” Tormented trip through body parts, evil creatures and more!  The Haunted Theater runs Fri, Sat and Sun from Oct. 16-25 for a 25-minute “Come at Your Own Risk Tour,” offered from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

HAUNTED SEAPORT  (South Jersey)
120 West Main St, Tuckerton, 609-296-8868
Pirates and sea captains long lost at sea stroll the boardwalk for a night of screams. Oct 22, 23, 24, 6pm – 9pm

FRIGHT FEST AT SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURES  (Central Jersey)
1 Six Flags Blvd., Jackson
Horrifying Haunts, Monstertainment, and Spine Chilling Rides.   Weekends thru Nov 1. 

BANE TERRIFYING HAUNTED HOUSE   (North Jersey)
630 W Mount Pleasant Ave, Livingston
Unlike most haunted houses, they do not break up our attraction into several smaller houses.  One giant haunted house means more fun and more fear so they have renovated the attraction doubling the walkthrough path. BRIGHTON ASYLUM  (North Jersey) 
2 Brighton Ave, Passaic
Brighton Asylum boasts the most interactive haunted attraction experience PERIOD! All custom special effects, sets that interact with you, huge realistic animatronics, scares at every turn! The Today Show called Brighton Asylum “the scariest place on Earth”.  Haunted Attraction Magazine named Brighton Asylum top 10 “must see” haunted attraction in the country.

25th annual Haunted Village  (North Jersey)
The Red Mill Museum Village 56 Main Street, Clinton 
Frequently imitated, but never duplicated, the Haunted Village is a "MUST SEE". With an original theme every year, a cast of over 50 live actors and state-of-the-art sound and visual effects, this attraction is not for the faint-hearted, and is not intended for young children. Don't miss out on the newest addition to the show the disorienting, spinning hallway known as "The Vortex".  Performances are scheduled for 6 nights: October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, and 24. As there are special outdoor lighting effects, it is critical the show not begin until after dark, approximately 7pm.

HAUNTED SCAREHOUSE   (North Jersey)

Haunted Scare house consists of Two Terrifying Attractions, The House of Nightmares and the Attic, spread over Two Floors of Fear. Weekends and select dates thru Nov 1.
