Since 2007, MarbleJam Kids Inc. has served as a vibrant creative enrichment center in Hackensack, NJ, empowering individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related neurodiversities to thrive through arts, therapy, and enrichment. Founded by mothers who wanted more opportunities for their children, MarbleJam has grown steadily for nearly two decades, serving hundreds of clients with the guiding mission: “Engaging the Mind, Moving the Body, Enriching the Soul, Sharing Smiles.” Their mission is simple yet vital: every individual, regardless of ability, deserves meaningful extracurricular and enrichment activities and the chance to discover their full potential.
What began as creative arts therapy has evolved into a diverse range of social programs designed to support the whole person. Clients have access to therapy, mentoring, and tutoring, as well as professional development initiatives, such as the VisionArts Film Practicum, where participants learn film-producing skills hands-on (marblejam.org/digital-arts). In addition to daily offerings in music, drama, and art, MarbleJam provides opportunities to shine on stage through beloved yearly events: a Film Premiere in January, the Annual Gala in May, the SummerJam Festival in September, and the much-anticipated “Hopes, Dreams, and Wishes” theatrical performance, coming up October 30, 2025.
Looking to the future, MarbleJam continues to expand its reach to establish new centers and outreach programs across New Jersey and New York. This commitment to growth ensures that even more individuals with IDD will have access to supportive, creative spaces that foster self-expression, confidence, and connection.
