LISTENING TO THE REVOLUTION: 250 YEARS OF AMERICAN MUSIC at Morven Museum & Garden

Grab a blanket, some lawn chairs, and your friends and family for a free community concert  at the home of a signer of the Declaration of Independence and New Jersey’s first Governor’s Mansion. The Blawenburg Band performs “Listening to the Revolution: 250 Years of American Music” on Morven’s historic front lawn.

The Blawenburg Band was established in 1890 in the small central New Jersey town of Blawenburg. The band is known as one of the oldest community bands in the state. It currently has 75 members and is led by conductor Dr. Jerry E. Rife.

Pre-registration for the concert is requested. In the event of inclement weather, it will be held the following night on Friday, July 31.
