Read & Pick: Earth Day! Growing a Garden of Goodies
Earth Day kicks off our season of Read & Pick this year. Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area.
For Earth Day, we welcome young farmers to celebrate planting time, gardens and nature bounty. We will be reading books highlighting gardening and growing followed by an educational component. Then everyone will be a farmer and plant seeds to take home.
The cost is $12.00 per child and includes the activity. There are two sessions on Tuesdays at 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour.Online pre-purchase of tickets is required.
