We’re excited to bring the arts to your classroom (or bring your classroom to us) in creative and collaborative ways. We’ll lead an assembly in your school auditorium, teach in your classroom during a 1 or 8-week in-school residency, energize your students with a SchoolTime performance and help you grow in our professional development sessions.
Schooltime Performance Series in Newark, New Jersey
Introduce your students to the magic of live performance on a field trip to NJPAC. NJPAC SchoolTime performance series introduces students to the magic of the performing arts on stage. Programs feature world-class artists from a wide variety of traditions. Music, dance, storytelling, theater, puppetry, and more ignite the imagination and cultivate lifelong enthusiasm for the arts. Productions are linked to curriculum areas such as world languages, social studies, and language arts and are appropriate for a broad range of ages.
School Assemblies
We’ll come to your school auditorium! NJPAC presents engaging assembly programs by professional artists that invite students into the enchanting world of live performance in their own school auditorium. NJPAC’s assembly series promotes cultural awareness and invigorates learning through performances that are connected to your school’s curriculum. All assembly programs include a Teacher Resource Guide and a question and answer session with the artists
