When autism is suspected, time matters. Founded in 2007, The Uncommon Thread is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the lives of children with autism through evidence-based ABA therapy. For nearly 20 years, we've supported families with understanding, empathy and expertise. We offer a complimentary family education that will provide you with a wealth of information about ABA, its core values, and TUT's therapeutic programs and settings. We'll research your insurance benefits and introduce you to the TUT community. The meeting also provides us with an  opportunity to learn more about your child. This important step helps to build a solid foundation and pave the way for your journey ahead. Our mission is to help our children reach their greatest potential.

Our 30-day coordinated pathway reduces delays and creates a clear, life changing route from first concern to early intervention for children ages 1 to 5. When you're concerned about your child, waiting months for answers isn't an option. We move families from first concern to evaluation and therapy- quickly and seamlessly. We leverage a trusted network of specialists across NJ, including an onsite diagnostic provider, to reduce delays and get families the answers they need sooner.
