Montclair Film offers a collection of inspiring, educational, in-school and offsite programs for teachers and students. Their hands-on filmmaking, screenwriting, podcasting, storytelling and other creative workshops are designed to help students find their unique voices and tell their stories. Their Impact Series and Film Field Trips harness the power of film to spark conversation and deepen thought and understanding of social issues. They also offer Professional Development workshops for Educators and Administrators ranging from Video Production to Team Building.

Educational Field Trips at The Clairidge Theater

Treat your students to an engaging and educational field trip at The Clairidge - a non-profit, independently-run theater in the heart of Montclair. Your students can screen current or classic films bringing your curriculum to life. Active post-film discussions can be led by our film instructors.

Montclair Film's Impact Series is a collection of powerful films that has been carefully curated to spark conversation about relevant social issues in science, civics and social studies. Following the films, students will engage in a discussion with the filmmaker or relevant experts. Options include both short- and feature-length films that can be screened in our Montclair theaters or in your school.
