French Institute and the Alliance Française (FIAF)

The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) of Montclair offers French lessons for Toddlers, Kids, and Teens ages 2-18.

Whether you’re planning a trip to France with your family, interested in introducing your child to new experiences, or want to help them learn French or improve their French skills, FIAF classes in Montclair have the perfect French class for you. All French classes for kids are taught by highly trained native speakers of French who come from all over the Francophone world and are fully certified to teach French as a foreign language. All children’s classes (1-week and longer) come with a complimentary year of FIAF Family Membership, bringing you enriching cultural experiences.

French Day Camps & Classes

Toddlers to Teens will play and stay active all summer during week-long camps. Each day includes language lessons plus a variety of activities including cooking, art, music, yoga, fashion, wildlife, and more. Open to all levels of French including native French-speaking children. Whether your child is new to French or already proficient, these day camps will help them learn and improve their French while having fun and making new friends.

New for 2023! FIAF Montclair Preschool

FIAF Manhattan’s proven Preschool model is now coming to Montclair! The FIAF Preschool provides your toddler aged 2½ to 5 a joyful entry into French language and culture, combining the best of French and American teaching methods within a rich, multicultural environment.
