An Innovative Program for Toddlers 

Housed in the Louis and Emily Slater Youth and Education Center of Temple B’nai Abraham, 300 E. Northfield Road, Livingston, the temple’s Early School, pre-school program is widely acknowledged to be among the finest in New Jersey.

The Early School, B’nai Abraham’s early childhood program for toddlers to age 5, is a child’s first formal learning experience involving progressive development in which each level has its own age-specific program and goals. All Early School programs welcome members and nonmembers.

The Early School offers a comprehensive early childhood curriculum, including reading readiness, math, science, writing, movement, music and the arts, as well as extended day activities. The Two’s, Three’s and K-Ready classes for 4- and 5-yea rolds meet Mondays to Fridays, offering a flexible schedule.

The Tot Time program, for parents/caregivers and their children ages 12 to 23 months, is an innovative, yearlong program, offered Mondays and/or Tuesdays, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The Early Twos, a program for children born in October, November, December 2013 or January 2014.

The Early School Camp is a great place to be for seven weeks during the summer, Monday to Friday, for 2- to 5-year-olds. Tot Time Camp, a program for parents with toddlers ages 12 to 23 months which is held on Mondays and Wednesdays in July and August, is an opportunity for parents and their young children to interact in a camp setting.
