Local favorites featured at Bartram Beach Block Concert Series

The City of Atlantic City and Atlantic City Free Public Library will once again present the Bartram Beach Block Concert Series – a biweekly series featuring popular local artists – this summer.

The free 90-minute shows will be held 7 p.m. at Bartram Place and the Boardwalk. Those attending the shows are asked to bring their own chairs or blankets.

Cason and Friends Jazz Ensemble on Friday, June 27 – The Cason and Friends Jazz Ensemble – led by Derek Cason – is a high energy group that performs an entertaining mix of jazz and R&B classics.
Tony DeLuca and the Paisans on Friday, July 11 – Affectionately known as the “Minister of Music,” Tony De Luca is a versatile musician who specializes in Italian and jazz songs.
Gina Roche’ on Friday, July 25 – A vocalist, guitarist and composer, local favorite Gina Roché puts a Brazilian twist on her jazz, blues and original compositions.
40-Year Overnight Success Tour Starring Jim Craine and the Atlantic City All Stars Band on Aug. 8 – Known as “The Singing Lifeguard,” Jim Craine has performed in many casinos in his native Atlantic City and has opened for legends such as Frank Sinatra.
Bud Noble Trio on Aug. 22 – The storied career of pianist Bud Noble includes a six-year stint as a featured performer at the famed Copa Lounge at the Sands Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
