Tikvah is designed to meet the special needs of children age 5-15 who have who have been classified with mild neurological and/or perceptual impairment. All prospective campers must be interviewed to determine if the Tikvah program can meet their individual needs and that an appropriate group placement is available.

Special attention is given to each camper in order to ensure a summer of enjoyment and learning. Group sizes range from three to six campers, staffed by a minimum of two caring and qualified counselors. Mainstreaming is geared to each individual camper's age and ability.

We are a qualified New Jersey Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)/PerformCare provider and accept payments from other Service Agency Providers as well as sending school districts.

Camp Dates:

Our camp dates start June 29 and run through August 21, 9 am - 4 pm. We offer four, six, seven or eight-week options for enrollment. Extended care and transportation available.

Tikvah Programs:

NKDC offers children a summer of adventure and nonstop fun! Enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends and explore personal interests. Tikvah programming includes academic remediation, sports, Red Cross instructional and recreational swim, playground time, art, drama, music, Judaic programming, fun theme days, extended nights, trips and much more. Your camper will be sure to have an incredible summer to remember.
