Holiday Light show at Longwood Garden

Holiday Lights Spectacular at the Turtle Back Zoo (West Orange)
Be amazed by 10,000 bulbs illuminating the winter nights. Admission is free, they are asking for donations of non-perishable food, unwrapped new toys and winter coats for the needy. Friday, Saturday and Sunday November 29th through December 1stand December 6th through January 1st (no lights 12/24 and 12/25). 5-9PM

Season of Light at the Newark Museum (Newark)
A light show of a different sort – in the Newark Museum’s planetarium.  This family show traces many of the world’s holiday customs– from Santa Claus and Yule logs to Christmas tree lights and the lightening of the Hanukah menorah.

Historic Smithville Holiday Light Show (Smithville)
A truly unique holiday light display - over 100 trees floating on a lake, dancing and twinkling to synchronized lights and music.

A Longwood Christmas at Longwood Gardens (Kennett Square, PA)
Get into the holiday spirit as you wander around the grounds among over a half million twinkling lights, thousands of poinsettias and magnificent Christmas trees.  Lit fountains dance to music.  Tickets required

Ride through Cape May’s Historic District to see festively decorated inns and homes as guides talk about Victorian Christmas traditions, lead sing-alongs, and play Christmas music.  Rides last about 30 minutes. All seats cost $10. Purchase tickets at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street, where tour begins, or at the Physick Estate at 1048 Washington St. at the Carriage House or the Hill House Office.
