This is NJ’s premier special needs summer program. Their camp is for ages 3 - 15, plus LIFE+ TravelQuest teen programs are for ages 16-18. Camp begins June 26 - August 11, 2023 and is located in West Orange New Jersey.

There are 15 lifelike shoppes to explore, including classroom lessons. This is a special place to master life skills and tailor your experience to your child’s special needs. Moderne Academie of Fine Arts

This dance center is now offering a new adaptive learning class every Saturday at 2pm. Led by an expert with a Master degree in Special needs, your child will experience a dance setting with hands-on equipment for development and gross motor skill activities. Their small classes are perfect; and private classes are also available.

Morris County Adaptive Recreation Program ARC of Morris

A recreational program for individuals with intellectual and related developmental disabilities aged 18 and up. If experiencing financial difficulty, speak to the program for options.

Summit Area YMCA
Berkeley Heights YMCA & Summit YMCA
Offers adaptive fun for all in a safe, friendly and supportive space. From gym, dance, swim, special events, sports and yoga, you can come and experience fun. Also they have an extra special PROM on May 5th. Find out about their free programs plus there is financial assistance available for all fee-based offerings. This is a great place with programs for ages 7-21.

The Center for Contemporary Art

The Center for Contemporary Art offers year round classes and summer programs providing needed access to creative art experiences
for children with Austim Spectrum Disorder and other special needs. The arts provide an invaluable avenue of self-expression for those with limited or no verbal communication, and because of heightened sensory needs, they often respond well to the multi-sensory stimulation and the hands-on approach inherent in art.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding

Equine Tranquility Wellness Center

Specializing in therapeutic riding, both English and Western style, you’ll be riding with certified instructors. Come experience trail riding, new friendships and learn all about horse care. All programs are inclusive and they serve all ages and abilities. They also offer field trips and work study. Open year round with an indoor arena. Approved DDD provider.
