SUMMER EXPLORATION CAMP At The Elisabeth Morrow School

Summer Camp Blending Fun and Learning
Kids, ages 2 through 9th grade, can enjoy their summer at the Elisabeth Morrow School Summer Exploration Program this year from June 28 through August 6, 2021.

Welcoming new and returning students to this beautiful 14-acre campus in Englewood, NJ, this program, with exciting weekly themes, encourages kids to be kids while finding their passion for exploring, creating, and learning. The director and certified instructors are dedicated to building confidence and enhancing skills for all campers to achieve their highest potential while having fun.

Kids will be grouped by age and ability with possible offerings as follows:
● A mix of indoor and outdoor activities
● Weekly workshops reinforcing skills in math, reading, science, writing and drama
● Afternoon sports, arts & crafts, cooking, and/or technology
● Opportunities for free play
● Can opt for 1 week or multiple, half-day (8:30am-12:15pm) or full-day (to 3:30pm)
● Healthy snacks are offered

GRADES 7-9 will also have the opportunity to join the Leaders In Training Program where selected applicants will have the chance to experience and become “effective and caring counselors”. Students here get hands-on training, for 3 weeks, with younger campers, as they learn through experience how to be great leaders and mentors not only at camp but in their everyday life as well. These leaders in training may also opt to take the First Aid/CPR course and/or American Camping Association online class.

For everyone’s safety, the school has adopted and exceeded all CDC mandated COVID19 policies and procedures which include the use of proper PPE, social distancing practises, high quality HEPA filtration, additional sanitation and cleaning, and a highly trained faculty, to name a few.
