Incarnation Camp

Wilderness Adventure & Classic Summer Camp Fun!

Located in coastal Connecticut, on over 700 wooded acres surrounding a mile-long private lake, Incarnation Camps are the country's oldest co-ed camps.  Since 1886, we have provided a fun-filled, traditional camp with experiential learning and group living in the outdoors.  We guide campers through well-rounded & adventurous programs that develop an appreciation for nature & celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.  We offer both overnight and day camp programs on our property and serve over 1000 campers each summer through our various programs.

Camper Life at Incarnation

Days at Incarnation Camp are packed with adventure and camaraderie. Campers rise together, prepare for the day, and gather for breakfast at Gibney dining hall. The morning includes communal tasks in their units and tent areas, fostering a sense of community responsibility.

During the morning, the waterfront becomes the hub, offering Swim or Boating classes based on age groups. Campers progress through swim ranks, while boating enthusiasts choose from sailing, canoeing, or rowing. After morning sessions, free time provides a chance for structured activities or relaxation, with open clinic access to various specialist activities.

Lunch precedes a well-deserved rest hour where the campers take a break from the sun & fun! The afternoon unfolds with diverse activities, from ceramics to music, to sports, allowing campers to explore their interests. Unique and creative "special" classes designed by counselors are offered later in the day.

A second free time allows for more recreational freedom, with options for open clinic and free swimming. The day concludes with a lively dinner, featuring weekly themed meals like "Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory."

Evening activities are unit-centric, offering tailored experiences. For those needing bedtime meds, the health center is accessible. Each day at Incarnation Camp is a vibrant blend of learning, friendship, and fun.
