Hairspray at Terrill Middle School, Scotch Plains
Big hair and bold colors take over Baltimore in the boisterous musical, “Hairspray,” the story of a girl who tears down social walls with the shake of her hips. For one weekend, more than 70 students will sing, dance, and welcome you to the ‘60s, with direction by Kale Thompson and Amanda Salcedo, (“The Diary of Anne Frank,” “Beauty and the Beast”).
Production dates are Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th at 7pm, and Sunday, April 30th at 2pm. Concessions will be available, and there will be one fifteen-minute intermission. Tickets for this event can be purchased at http://tmshairspray.brownpapertickets.com or at the door. Students and seniors: $8, adults: $12.
