Colts Neck Harvest Festival Sept 28-29
The fairgrounds encompass 30 acres which includes a lake, polo fields, ball fields and unlimited parking. It is surrounded by horse farms, pumpkin fields, apple orchards and upscale residential communities. Chester Lions Club Annual Oktoberfest Sept 28-29
The 15th Annual Oktoberfest is a full of family fun, with something for everyone! The Adler’s, a notable German Band will perform familiar German tunes and will be accompanied by spectacular dancers, bell ringers and water goblet musicians. Activities for children include Pony Rides, Rock Climbing Wall, Obstacle Course, Super Slide, Sand Art, Spin Art and more. Faeries and Wizards Family Festival Sept 28-29
Celebrate these magical creatures with games, crafts and more. Children will make their own wizard hat or fairy wings. Children also make fairy wands and their own fairy garden to take home. Come to the Garden dressed in your favorite Faerie or Wizard Costume. The Lord Stirling 1770s Festival Oct 6

Return to the past and experience daily colonial life and craft industry at the annual Lord Stirling 1770s Festival. Colonial craftspeople ply their trades while a Town Crier announces the local news. A Revolutionary War Military detachment camps on the former estate lawn of Lord Stirling and conducts maneuvers. Stroll the grounds of "The Buildings" and tour Lord Stirling's personal 1762 wine cellar. The Lord Stirling 1770s Festival also features displays of authentic artifacts discovered on site by our archeological field project. Children of all ages enjoy the hayrides, clay crafts, stenciling, tin piercing, and colonial games. Experience what life was like here in the fall of 1770 and learn about their local Revolutionary War hero, Lord Stirling. Snacks, lunch, and cold drinks are available. Suggested donation: $5 per person.

South Jersey Pumpkin Show

The 2013 show will feature the reading of Sleepy Hollow legend and the arrival of the Headless Horsemen on Friday & Saturday evenings.  The giant pumpkin pyramid will be showcased as the center piece of the festival and kids under ten will enjoy a free, friendly boo barn, pumpkins, craft making and with them in mind.   Families visiting the festival can enjoy wine sampling, pumpkin desserts, rows and rows of craftsmen, Fall Home & Living Expo, fun contests, scarecrows, amusement rides, give-a-ways, men’s only pumpkin toss, live bands, festival food court, camping, NJ Largest Baked Pumpkin Pie, colorful pumpkins, pumpkins and so much more!

35th Annual Deerfield Township Harvest Festival Oct 11-13

The Festival pays tribute to local farmers and celebrates "35 Years of Great Music and Family Fun". The festival’s outstanding entertainment lineup features local and regional entertainers coupled with established and rising national performers. It also includes a parade, arts & crafts show, mascot mania, amusement rides and games, a Sing Fest competition, dessert baking challenge, multicultural food court and fireworks.
