Brooklyn Botanical Garden Cherry Blossoms Festival, Sakura Matsuri April 29, 2017-April 30, 2017, 10AM-6PM. Admission Fee for non-members. The annual cherry blossom festival at Brooklyn Botanical Garden NY, offers over 60 events and performances that celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture. Flushing Meadows Corona Park Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival
April 15, 2017,11AM-1PM. FREE! Sakura Matsuri is an annual festival to celebrate the spring blossoming of the cherry trees at Flushing Meadows. This event features live drum performances (Taiko), a traditional Japanese chorus, a Japanese folk dance, and a tea ceremony. Avenue of the States, Corona NY.

- Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival runs April 1, 2017-April 9, 2017. Main event is Sakura Sunday April 9th 10AM-5PM. Featuring Japanese culture, live music, dance, martial arts, fashion food and fun. Newark Branch Brook Park Essex County Family Day at Branch Brook Park April 22, 2017, 11AM-3PM. FREE ADMISSION. Spend an afternoon under a canopy of cherry blossoms with crafts, a petting farm, entertainment, a fishing derby, paddle boats and more! New York Botanical Garden Daffodil Celebration & Wine Weekend, April 29 & 30,  12–4 p.m.   Take in the unfolding display of flowering trees and other spring beauties and celebrate the eagerly anticipated bloom of over 300,000 newly planted daffodil bulbs alongside the historic display at Daffodil Hill. Enjoy a selection of palate-pleasing wines from New York and beyond, while experts on the science of making wine host talks. More than 200 flowering cherry trees are planted across the Garden’s historic landscape, and their cheerful pink and white blossoms follow shortly after the magnolias in spring.
