The “I Have A Dream” speech is one of the most famous speeches in history. It was written by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a prominent leader in the civil rights movement. We honor his memory, life and legacy on the third Monday in January. It is also the MLK Day of Service. Get your kids to volunteer and give back to the community. Many museums have exhibits and specials on Dr. King.
