Spectacular Jersey Festivals and Fairs - 2nd half of September

Can you believe it’s almost October? September is here and the feel of Fall is in the air. Take advantage of the weather while it’s still nice and pleasant. Bring the whole family out and experience some great September festivals. Jersey has an array of festivals and we’ve hightlighted some of our favorites. Check out more things to do with the kids.

Mercer County Italian American Festival
September 22-24, 2017
Two stages of live entertainment plus lot of Italian American traditions and fun. A food piazza, markets, crafts, bocce, cultural theater, dining and dance tents, carnival rides, fireworks. West Windsor NJ.

Harrison Fest 2017
September 22-24, 2017
A New Jersey Statewide Multicultural Celebration. Featuring a Harrison Fest Parade on Saturday Sept 23 with cultural dancing groups, marching bands and bag pipers. Street Fairs Sept 23rd & Sept 24th with kiddie rides, tasty foods and music. Harrison Avenue, Harrison NJ. 201-719-6567.

Family Fest at Crane Park
September 23, 2017, 12PM-4PM
The 1st annual Montclair FamilyFest is formerly known as the “Crane Park Festival” with lots of family friendly vendors, and will be held alongside the Pig & Prince’s Oktoberfest (12-8pm) with over 25 local and regional food vendors, live music. Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair NJ.

Edison Fall Family Spectacular
September 23, 2017, 11AM-12 Midnight

The Giant Pumpkin Carve
September 23, 2017
Meals on Wheels holds this annual fundraising event at the Salem County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $7 for adults and free for children 5 and under. High school and amateur artists carving giant pumpkins, pumpkin light show, free hayrides, kids crafts, straw maze, music and more family fun. Leonia Oktoberfest
September 23, 2017
17th annual Oktoberfest sponsored by the Rotary Club of The Palisades to support the Weekend Snack Pack Program at local schools. This is a family friendly event with food and drink, kids activities, and German competitions. Leonia NJ.

Bergen County 4-H and Master Gardener Fair
September 23-24, 2017
Be part of Bergen County’s Fall Harvest Festival. Rides, animal pens, ponies, games and family fun. Van Saun County Park, Paramus NJ.

Camden County 4-H Fair
September 23-24, 2017

Morristown Festival on the Green
September 24, 2017, 12PM-5PM

Olde Time Italian Festival

September 29-30, 2017

Essex County 4-H Fall Fair

Our Lady of the Lake Oktoberfest
September 30, 2017
Seventh annual Oktoberfest under the grand tent in the OLL parking lot. Authentic German food, beer, wine, and live music. Festivities begin with ceremonial beer keg tapping. Advance tickets are $65 per person. Fourth annual Kinderfest under the tents in the Montrose Avenue. Parking lot is free but tickets are required for certain rides, games and crafts. Verona NJ.
