The great Pumpkin Train runs from October 5th to the end of October, weekends. Every train is "The great Pumpkin Train” in October! Take the Great Pumpkin Train to the Corn Maze or just for a scenic ride along the Delaware River! Ride our steam train through the beautiful fall landscape of Western New Jersey. Take the train to the pumpkin patch located in a little glade in front of the historic Carpentersville Lime Kilns dating from the 1700's.  Once you arrive at the Pumpkin Patch, everyone is welcome to get off the train and EVERY CHILD can pick their own pumpkin for FREE.

Nestled on a hill overlooking the Navesink River, the park was established in 1974 with a 118-acre gift of land.  Besides forests and meadows, the site also features over 8 miles of multi-use trails and an Environmental Center. A visit to Huber Woods Park is the perfect opportunity to appreciate the facets of nature that are often taken for granted.  While there, take a moment amid the scenic beauty and panoramic views to observe small things - sounds, smells, light and shadow, subtle hints of seasonal change.  Relax in a meadow or take a walk along a wooded trail.
