Celebrating the Shape of Light - New Planetarium Shows Begin Today

The Newark Museum is hosting an day-long program on October 17 for all ages that explores its new exhibition  The Shape of Light: Gabriel Dawe.

Take part in a lecture, special gallery tours, film and planetarium programs, demonstrations, hands-on-workshops and an after-hours program. This event is part of the Newark Arts Council Open Doors, a city wide arts festival and community event.

Art, science and entertainment activities throughout the day include:

  • Planetarium and Film Programs - noon-9pm
  • Demonstrations and Workshops - noon-4:30pm
  • Primary Color Tours and Shades of Red/Blue Tours on-4:30pm
  • Children and Family Activities - noon-4:30pm
  • Artist Gabriel Dawe speaks on The Shape of Light- 4-5pm
  • Colorful Cocktails and Collages - 5:15-9pm
